Fishing & Hunting in Canada...
Smallmouth Bass - Walleye - Northern Pike - Muskie Black Bear - Moose

Josh and the entire Maynard Lake family would like to personally invite you to join them at Maynard Lake. May and June can have more unpredictable weather, but the shear aggressiveness of post spawn Walleye and Northerns create fishing memories that far out way any change in the forecast. July and August are popular for family vacationing at Maynard Lake Lodge because the weather and water temperatures are the most suitable and is also a time when the fish become quite predictable. September is a commonly over looked month, the weather is often beautiful, there are no bugs and the fish of all species are putting on the feed bag for a long , cold winter. A great month for serious anglers. It's a wonderful place for professional Anglers and novices alike to experience nature in all it's splendor. Even young children can catch lots of fish to keep their interest high. Along with the fabulous fishing, the lake offers an abundance of wildlife to observe and many beautiful sand beaches for swimming and exploring.

Fishing Lodge

To occupy the non-fishing hours at the lodge we have a canoe, a fully equipped golf driving range, a wood fired cedar log sauna and games room with a 50 inch flat screen to watch your favorite game on Satellite.
We enjoy having families at Maynard Lake Lodge and offer 35% off special for children 16 and under. Your time at Maynard Lake will be a truly memorable family experience (even if the kids do catch the biggest fish.)

What We Furnish

Cabins are fully equipped with wet bars, beverage fridges, ice buckets, linens, blankets, wood stoves, wood, 24 hour electricity and a fantastic view of Maynard Lake. We also provide free Wi-Fi within the main Lodge area.

What to Bring
Keeping warm and dry is essential to your personal comfort. For May, June and September fishing, we suggest you bring sufficient warm clothing for potential dramatic temperature shifts. Layering clothing is best for staying warm. July and August are much more stable (70 to 80 degrees F.) and will probably only require a light jacket for the evening. All season long, good quality rain gear will make the difference between a wet day on the lake to a great day of fishing on the lake and waterproof boots will be an asset on rainy days if you plan to hike to Bass Lake. A pair of water proof insulated fishing gloves for the cool season is also a good idea.
Other suggestions are snacks, camera, batteries, toiletries and medication, insect repellent, sunscreen, sunglasses, a hat and a flashlight. All of our boats are outfitted with fish locatorís, but if you wish to bring your own, please do.
